Rugby Unlocked is operated by Rugby Unlocked Ltd ("we", "us", "our").

2. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the Platform under applicable laws
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Types

The Platform offers two primary account types:

• Player Accounts: For individuals seeking rugby opportunities
• Club Accounts: For rugby clubs, teams, and organisations seeking players

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access
• Keeping your account information accurate and up to date

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

You may upload, submit, or display content on the Platform, including but not limited to:

• Profile information (name, biography, playing history, qualifications)
• Photos and videos (profile pictures, highlight clips)
• Documents (CVs, certificates)
• Messages sent to other users
• Vacancy postings and job descriptions

4.2 Content Standards

You agree that all content you submit will:

• Be accurate, truthful, and not misleading
• Not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Not contain illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or discriminatory material
• Not contain viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4.3 Licence to Your Content

By submitting content to the Platform, you grant Rugby Unlocked a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

You retain ownership of your content and may delete it at any time through your account settings.

5. Platform Services

5.1 Player Services

Players may use the Platform to:

• Create and maintain a professional rugby profile
• Upload highlight clips and media
• Browse and apply to club vacancies
• Receive and respond to interest from clubs
• Communicate with clubs through the messaging system
• Receive scout scores and profile assessments (where available)

5.2 Club Services

Clubs may use the Platform to:

• Create and maintain a club profile
• Post vacancy listings for playing positions
• Search and discover player profiles
• Express interest in players and manage shortlists
• Communicate with players through the messaging system
• Review applications and manage the recruitment pipeline

5.3 AI-Assisted Features

The Platform may use artificial intelligence to assist with certain features, including but not limited to CV parsing, profile suggestions, and matching recommendations. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content should be reviewed and verified by users.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Free and Paid Tiers

Rugby Unlocked offers both free and paid subscription tiers with varying features and capabilities. Details of current pricing and features are available on our pricing page.

6.2 Payment Terms

For paid subscriptions:

• Payments are processed securely through our payment provider (Stripe)
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Prices are displayed in the applicable currency and include VAT where required
• You agree to provide accurate billing information

6.3 Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may offer refunds at our discretion in exceptional circumstances. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact our support team.

6.4 Promotional Offers

From time to time, we may offer promotional subscriptions or trial periods. These offers are subject to specific terms communicated at the time of the offer and may be withdrawn at any time.

7. Verification and Trust

7.1 Profile Verification

Rugby Unlocked may verify certain user information to enhance trust on the Platform. Verification badges indicate that specific information has been confirmed but do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of a user's character, abilities, or suitability.

7.2 Scout Scores and Assessments

Scout scores and profile assessments are provided as informational tools based on available data and professional review. They represent opinions and should not be the sole basis for recruitment decisions. Rugby Unlocked does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of these assessments.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or other users' accounts
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform
• Circumvent or manipulate the Platform's features or functionality
• Post false or misleading information about your identity, qualifications, or experience
• Use the Platform to recruit for illegal activities or organisations
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, features, content, and technology, is owned by Rugby Unlocked and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

9.2 Trademarks

"Rugby Unlocked" and associated logos are trademarks of Rugby Unlocked Ltd. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Third-Party Services

The Platform may contain links to or integrations with third-party services (such as payment processors, video hosting platforms, or social media). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these services.

12. Disclaimers

12.1 Platform Provided "As Is"

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12.2 No Guarantee of Outcomes

Rugby Unlocked is a platform that facilitates connections between players and clubs. We do not guarantee:

• That players will find employment or club opportunities
• That clubs will find suitable players
• The accuracy of information provided by other users
• The quality or safety of any interactions, meetings, or arrangements made through the Platform

12.3 User Interactions

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We encourage you to exercise caution and good judgement when meeting in person or sharing personal information.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Rugby Unlocked shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rugby Unlocked, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you submit to the Platform

15. Termination

15.1 Termination by You

You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your profile will be deactivated and your content will be removed in accordance with our data retention practices.

15.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the Platform or specific features
• We reasonably believe your account poses a risk to the Platform or other users

15.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
