About BETHESDA RUGBY CLUB
Bethesda RFC is a community rugby club that is located in North Wales. Established in 1974, our Ist 15 play in Division 1 North which is a part of the Welsh National League (WRU). Our 2nd IV play in Division 3 North West. We run mini and Junior sides across all the age groups. Our clubhouse and facilities are recognised to be amongst the best in the whole country. As well as being the gateway to the stunning Eryri National Park (also known as Snowdonia), Bethesda is a mere 5 miles from the sea and the Island of Anglesey which boasts stunning beaches. We are also approximately 5 miles from Bangor, which is a large University Town. Liverpool, Manchester and Dublin (by ferry) are easy day trips. Bethesda is the home of the world famous Zipworld Penrhyn Quarry which is the world’s fastest zipline. As well as offering a good level of rugby this is an ideal location for people interested in outdoor recreation particularly walking, climbing, swimming, kayaking or sailing.
