Jade J. V. Jade J. V. is a Namibian rugby player who has built an extensive playing career through school, regional, academy, club, and international rugby environments. Born on 13 August 2000, Jade stands at 1.80 m and primarily plays in the backline, with experience at Centre, Wing, and Fullback. Jade began his rugby journey with the Erongo Regional Under-13 Team and later represented SS De Duine before joining Walvis Bay Private High School, where he progressed through the school rugby system and eventually became a First Team player. During his school career, he represented regional rugby teams from Under-16 to Under-18 level and was involved in the Namibian high-performance Under-20 national camp. In 2021, Jade gained experience in South Africa with the Western Province Rugby Institute/Academy, including Western Province inter-provincial rugby. He then continued his development with the University of Namibia Rugby in 2022. His international club experience began in 2023 when he joined Los Lobos Rugby Club in Chile. In 2024, he returned to South Africa to play for Buffalo Rugby Club in the Border Super League and was also involved with the Border Bulldogs SA Cup training squad. Jade continued his rugby career in Namibia with FNB Kudus Rugby Club, where he was part of a successful squad and gained further senior-level experience. He also represented Sparta Rugby Club in Sevens, competed in the Erongo Regional Sevens Team, and was involved in the Namibian Rugby Sevens environment. In February 2026, Jade represented Predators Rugby at the Cape Town Tens, adding another valuable experience to his playing career. He is currently continuing his rugby journey with Trusco United Rugby Club in Namibia. Throughout his career, Jade has gained experience across different rugby environments in Namibia, South Africa, and Chile.
