Entering my sixth season of top-level club rugby in Christchurch, New Zealand, I am excited to explore opportunities to further develop my playing career. I am a highly coachable player, driven to succeed and make a meaningful impact within any team environment. I take great pride in my work ethic and commitment, both on and off the field. My primary position is Flanker, with extensive experience at Lock and No.8. My strengths across these roles include a high work rate, strong decision-making, accurate skill execution, and consistent defensive output. I play with intensity and take pride in the often unseen work that contributes to team success. I am adaptable in my gameplay, comfortable operating within various structures and systems, and always willing to learn and improve. After winning the 2020 Canterbury Regions First XV competition with St Andrew’s College, I joined Burnside Rugby Football Club, progressing directly into their Division 1 team at just 17 years old. I am recognised as one of the youngest players in recent years to start at this level and became one of the club’s youngest recipients of a 40-game blazer, achieving this milestone at 22 years old in 2024. Competing consistently at this level has significantly developed my understanding of game tempo, defensive and attacking structures, and discipline under pressure. I am a team-first player who values communication, accountability, and leadership, and I strive to raise the standards of those around me. Within Burnside, I have been part of the leadership group since 2022, including opportunities to captain the Division 1 side. My contributions have been recognised through multiple awards, including Burnside Club Team Person of the Year (2023 & 2025), Division 1 Team Person of the Year (2025), and Division 1 Tackler of the Year (2022).
