About Peterborough RUFC
The Peterborough Rugby Union Football Club (PRUFC), commonly known as the Peterborough Pagans, is one of the largest and most established rugby clubs in Ontario. Based at the historic Nicholls Oval Park, the club has a deep-rooted history in the community dating back over a century. The club is famously tied to Nicholls Oval, where rugby was recorded as being played as early as 1899 when a local Peterborough side hosted a touring team from Ireland. The club is a "feeder" for higher-level rugby, with several players going on to represent Team Canada. We prioritise competitive development with a strong junior pathway, alongside strong grassroots participation.
